Privacy Statement
Dotboard.io (the "Site") is a wholly owned subsidiary of Mobius Justice Technologies LLC (the "Company"). Dotboard is committed to protecting your privacy and developing technology that gives you the most powerful and safe online experience. This Statement of Privacy applies to the Dotboard.io website and governs data collection and usage. By using the Dotboard website, you consent to the data practices described in this statement.
Information collected
When you request register on Dotboard, the Company will ask you to provide basic contact information. When you purchase Dotboard's applications or services (the “Services”), the Company will ask you to provide billing information. Dotboard uses common Internet technologies, such as cookies and Web beacons, to keep track of interactions with the Company's Web sites and emails. This information is used by for the operation of the service, to maintain quality of the service, and to provide general statistics regarding use of the Dotboard Web site. If you use Dotboard anonymously, the site will use cookies to identify you and preserve any Dotboards that you create anonymously.
Use of information
Dotboard collects and uses your contact information to operate the Site and deliver the services you have requested. Dotboard may also uses your information to inform you of other products or services available from the Company. Dotboard may also contact you via surveys to conduct research about your opinion of current services or of potential new services that may be offered.
Dotboard does not sell, rent or lease its customer lists, data sets, charts or dashboards to third parties. Dotboard may, from time to time, contact you on behalf of external business partners about a particular offering that may be of interest to you. In those cases, communications will come directly from Dotboard; your unique personally identifiable information (e-mail, name, address, telephone number) is not transferred to the third party, and you will be able to opt out of such communications.
Dotboard keeps track of the Web sites and pages our customers visit within Site, in order to determine what Dotboard services are the most popular. This data is used to deliver customized content within Dotboard to customers whose behavior indicates that they are interested in a particular subject area.
Customer data
Customers of Dotboard may electronically submit data or information to the Company’s Services (“Customer Data”). Dotboard will not review, share, distribute, or reference any such Customer Data except as provided in an agreement between Dotboard and the Customer, or as may be required by law. In accordance with any such agreement, Dotboard may access Customer Data only for the purposes of providing the services, preventing or addressing service or technical problems, at a Customer’s request in connection with customer support matters, or as may be required by law.
Use of Google Sign-In, Google Drive API and Google Contacts
Dotboard offers you the ability to sign in via a non-Google email account, or via a Google hosted email account. If you sign in using Google, Dotboard will collect and store public information that you have created via your Google account and chosen to share with developers, such as email, first and last name, and Google Avatar. If you sign in with Google, Dotboard will also ask for permission to "View and manage Google Drive files and folders that you have opened or created" using Dotboard. This permission will enable you to import specific spreadsheets into Dotboard; Dotboard will then import and store your spreadsheet data into its data visualizer tool. Dotboard will only collect this spreadsheet data from spreadsheets that you have explicitly imported via the Dotboard importer, using Google's File Picker tool. Sharing of your profile information and visualized data is completely controlled by you, and by default, is set to private.
Dotboard also may offer the ability for you to import specific email contacts into Dotboard in order to facilitate the sharing of Dotboards that you've created or have been added to, with your existing contact network. You will not be asked for this Google permission until you have explicitly requested the functionality via our visual interface. Dotboard will then show you a list of your Google Contacts on the browser, but will only import and save to our servers contacts that you have explicitly shared via our visual interface. Your contacts information will not be shared with any other user without your explicit and deliberate consent and in the context of you creating a team entity within Dotboard. Your contact information will be shared with no external or third party.
Security of your Personal Information
Dotboard secures your personal information from unauthorized access, use or disclosure. Dotboard secures the personally identifiable information you provide on computer servers in a controlled, secure environment, protected from unauthorized access, use or disclosure. When personal information (such as a credit card number) is transmitted to other Web sites, it is protected through the use of encryption, such as the Secure Socket Layer (SSL) protocol.
Changes to this Statement
Dotboard will occasionally update this Statement of Privacy to reflect company and customer feedback. The Company encourages you to periodically review this Statement to be informed of how Dotboard is protecting your information.
